Ithaca, New York. There’s a famous saying in this lovely town, “Ithaca is Gorges.” And that it is! However, the gorges weren’t the only beautiful thing in Ithaca this weekend, there was a lovely celebration of a very wonderful couple!
Ashley and Griffin met while attending Cornell University, although they didn’t start dating until after their Cornell years. They exchanged vows during an early ceremony at Sage Chapel on campus. After the ceremony, they spent a little time on campus before heading off to one of their favorite wineries, Hazlitt, for a wine tasting with their wedding party. The amazing countryside was full of vineyards that dipped down hillsides and into the lakes. The lakes were surrounded with the rolling hills and lush, summer vegetation. A brief spout of rain dampened the landscape, making it glisten. Their amazing day continued with a romantic, oh so fun reception at the Harbor Hotel. I’m pretty sure the dance floor was packed the entire night!
