Peppy Winter Bride Style

How darling is Kate Spade‘s Bridal Belles collection? I love the pairing of classy, short wedding dresses with fall accessories – colorful tights, gloves, clutches, sweaters, and jackets! And the price tag is surprisingly affordable, dresses are all under $500.

Harry Potter Engagement Shoot

This Harry Potter inspired engagement shoot by Brooke Aliceon and Paloma Alisa is simply BRILLIANT.

Broom flying, butter beer, time turning, and magical mayhem…this shoot has got it all!

Reading Harry Potter books in a grass field – definitely my idea of a perfect date (obviously, you have to be in costume too, wand and all).

I can just imagine this scene: “Let’s go back in time to when we first met,” she says. Sigh…I want to be a wizard when I grow up!

What’s more brilliant is that the whole shoot was put together for just $70! Brooke wrote, “All food was purchased at Trader Joes or World Market. The jars are from Michaels and they were all .99. We made the table to resemble “Honeydukes” the candy shop in Harry Potter. Other props the couple owned. The entire shoot cost about $70.00. Yay! We had fun!”

Love it!

Harley Road Trip Engagement

I love out of the box engagement shoots that tells a unique story and Tess and Jon’s Harley Road Trip shoot is definitely up there as one of the most unique engagement shoots I have seen. Doesn’t Jon totally remind you of James Dean circa Rebel with a Cause, except even more badass? And I love that Tess is super cute and girly.

Happy Friday darlings! And hooray for a three day weekend! I’ve been looking forward to this long weekend. It seems ages since the last one. It’s here at long last and I’m planning to soak in every moment. I’m in a happy mood so I thought to share with you a cheery color board of vibrant indigo blue. I hope the cool blues take your mind off the summer heat and whisk you away to a beautiful tropical beach!

Undead Attacks Couple on Picnic

It was just another day of picnicking in the prickly, burr-filled fields for these betrothed lovers

when, unbeknownst to them a stranger lurks.

From the wee distance, the sickly looking hipster could easily be mistaken for emo teen heart-throb-turned-vampire, Edward Cullens

but alas, as the stranger draws near, it became apparent that this is a very different kind of undead…the not-so-good-looking kind.

Fortunately, the unsuspecting lovers brought weapons to their picnic.

A fierce battle ensued…

but ultimately, love wins and the couple emerged victorious.

Kate Moss – The Boho Bride

On the off chance you might not have seen Kate Moss’ wedding (I didn’t catch it until just today!)…here are some of my favorite pics from the “official” photos from Vogue.

Kate is the quintessential bohemian bride, don’t you think? …but of course with a dash of English charm :) . I love that all her flower girls wore flower wreaths.

I totally see Kate with all the daisies, but I didn’t fancy she’d have a thing for traditional white roses and tapered candles. I guess Kate’s all grown up now. Although, I sorta prefer her Brit rock side and would be curious to see her play that angle at her wedding, but hey who am I to say, it’s not my wedding ;) .
