I’m actually thinking it would be adorable to have our dog as the picture in our save the date – holding a little sign with the date on it in his mouth or something.

  2. Thank you for choosing to showcase a Sincerely Yours Paper Save the Date at the top! Anna and Austin’s balloon picture was yummy inspiration for a fun fun FUN announcement that oozed personality! I’m glad you liked it!

My fiance and I were thinking of using our prom picture for our save-the-date. That’s how we met–I asked him to prom 7 years ago.

    • Katie says:

Kelcy– how exactly did you do your save the dates? We were thinking of using our homecoming picture, but I can’t think of any cute way to put it on the save the dates. Thanks!

  4. These save-the-date ideas are very nice… I like the novelty of the stamps best. It adds a little personal touch to every piece. :)

The first save-the-date photo is the best, though. Love those balloons!

I love these! I would probably want to include my puppies in a photo I did!

I probably would go with the idea of making it look a beer coaster though- we are avid beer brewers :)

  6. Ashley Silva-Howe says:

    These save-the-dates are so inspirational!

For ours, we have two big coffee mugs with chalkboard ‘chat-bubbles’ on them. We were going to fill in the chat bubbles with the date and take a picture sipping coffee from them.

  7. Shannon says:

My idea is for the save the date to say “your presence is key” and then attach a key to the front of it and have one of our engagement photos in the background. Would love to win these!! :)

My fiance and I are huge Red Sox fans, I would love a save the date to be a picture of Fenway Park with a picture of us on the gumbotron and Wally (the red sox mascot) standing on the pitchers mound with a sign showing the date of our wedding! This is a great contest!

  11. These are sooo cute. I wish the couples in this area were into engagement shoots. In the 4 yrs I’ve been in business in this area, I’ve only had one engagement photo shoot. Most of them either book at the last minute because that’s the way things are done around here, or they can’t afford the packages that include engagement shoots. It’s too sad.

  12. Linda Nguyen says:

I plan to send postcards with 3 pictures as a film strip of my fiance and me. The first will be of him on his knees when he was prepared to ask me to marry him. The second picture will be of the “Will you Marry Me” in chocolate plate with the photo of my engagement ring on it. The last picture will be of us after I had said YES!!!

  13. Linda Nguyen says:

I love Danielle’s idea. We love the Phillies. If I could go to their stadium and take a picture on the mound, we would totally do it!
