Noel and I are going camping in Yosemite! Wooohoooo! I can’t hardly wait! “Yosemite” has always held almost mythical status in my mind. This is the place that inspired Ansel Adams to take his legendary black and white photographs.
This is also the place where my dad used to take me every summer in his beat up Subaru with broken windows and I remember being absolutely in awe of it. Like typical tourists, we usually drive in and drive out within one day so I’ve always wanted to return and spend more time here.
Noel is equally fond of the outdoors so we’re both super thrilled to finally be able to plan a trip and grab a camp site (the typical waiting period is 6 months in advance!). My camera batteries are charged, days of food prepared and frozen, and the camping gear are all packed.
5 more hours and we’ll be on the road, and soon, completely unplugged…which means we’ll be offline for the next few days.
Can we trust y’all to hold down the fort? No crazy parties while we’re away! We’re locking up the booze cabinet. Everything better be the same when we get back
