British Picnic Inspired Shoot

I love love love the vibrant rockin’ style of London-based wedding photogs We Heart Pictures, so when I heard they were doing a British Picnic shoot to pay homage to the Royal Wedding, I had to feature it here on Swoon.

Doesn’t this shoot make you want to go into the woods with the gals, play dress up and have a picnic?

After the picnic, the girls donned wedding gowns for a “Rock My Dress” shoot. The idea behind the shoot was to inspire brides to rock the wedding dress for less traditional shoots in unique settings.  I don’t know about you, but I’m inspired…

I love the concept of this shoot. The forest plus the wedding dresses created such a dream-like environment, like they were wood nymphs or goddesses.

Oh and also, check out the video of the shoot, which is equally as dreamy as the photos:

Charlette and Hector describes their philosophy:

“We like to shoot reportage style for weddings and our work is creative but natural. We take inspiration from everywhere however we work very closely with our couples to take inspiration from them. It means that all our portfolios are different. They represent the people we shoot and their day and not just a certain style.”

Jimmy Fisher – Amazing light in those day shots. Anything unique about how they were shot. Beautiful imgarey all around though. One of you best E Shoots by far.
