Hello darlings, I know it’s been awhile since our last 10 Things You Swoon Over post, and I apologize for the long delay, especially to the contributors who have graciously shared their lists and patiently wait for me to make a post. If you have some tips for how to manage a blog whilst juggling a full time job, I’d love to hear it…especially from you super ladies who blog, work, and have kids…my goodness!
But I digress, on to happier things, today the lovely Jacin from Lovely Little Details is here with us to share her Swoon list! Jacin probably doesn’t need an introduction as she is so well-known in the blogosphere for her keen eye for swoon-worthy wedding details and her vivacious and approachable personality. But in case you’d like to know a little more about Jacin, here are the 10 things she swoons over:
1. Spending time with my family and friends – as I live in California and our family and most friends are all back east, I really treasure the times we have together. Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder!

2. Mason jars – not just for décor, but I use masons to can homemade jam and pickles. I learned how to can from my grandmother and continue to carry on her legacy through Jars of Love {spreading joy, one jar at a time}

3. Fresh flowers – really, even on the worst of days, a fresh bouquet of flowers can always brighten my day and bring inspiration. I have one of my grandmother’s antique blue mason jars on our kitchen table and it is always filled with my latest finds from the farmer’s market. Today it is fresh lilacs!

4. Music – I have the most random taste in music, everything from Tribe Called Quest to Frank Sinatra to Bruce Springsteen to John Legend. I’d rather listen to my Pandora station than watch TV sometimes! I love when you hear a certain song, it brings you back to a moment in time. If I’m working and need some inspiration, I turn on my Pandora to fit whatever mood I’m in!

5. Friday nights – this means a bottle of wine, a loaf of French bread, yummy cheese {roaring 40s blue is my favorite}, and a night in with my hubby.
6. Those little spots that sun can make in a picture – I don’t know what they’re technically called, but when the light hits the image the right way and makes a little round burst of light, it just makes me happy.

7. Pretty scarves – I’ve become slightly obsessed with pashminas and pretty, ruffly scarves of all colors and designs. My latest favorite is a blue and white striped scarf with yellow tassles. I love when weddings incorporate pashminas in to their favors to keep their guests warm and comfortable.

8. Tissue paper pom poms – judge as you may, but these aren’t going out of style anytime soon in my book. You can have your chevron, I’ll take my tissue paper pom poms

9. Lazy days at the beach – some of my favorite memories include summer days spent at the beach in Nantucket {or any other beach, for that matter}. And if I could have a #11 on this list it’d be drinking ice cold cranberry juice on a hot summer’s day.

10. Pretty fonts – now that I’m learning illustrator and design programs, I have a new-found love for fonts. I love translating a bride’s description in to a reality by using just the right fonts whether its for her menus, or her “signature cocktail” reminders.
Hop on over to Jacin’s blog to see more lovely little details! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Oh and could you also please leave her a comment to let her know Ann has finally posted her swoon list? Thanks dolls!
