Love Olio and Artaquis Photography is partnering up to give away a free engagement/love shoot in San Diego on the weekend of May 14th! One lucky couple will receive a free 3-hour photoshoot and 10 digital photographs. Please scroll down to see how to enter.
The theme of the photoshoot will be all about “Nothing but love”.
In the words of Basamba from Artaquis Photography, “Love can be described using so many words. Nothing compares to those moments when you experience Love without a word being spoken: A hug and a kiss after a day that was anything but great, the soft hand on your shoulder, telling you that someone cares for you. Somebody standing on your doorstep, weeks after silence, ready for a new beginning. Even the look into eyes, sometimes filled with tears, that tell “I love you!”, louder, with sincerity no poem in the world could tell.”

The first thing that came into mind was the moment that my fiance proposed
It was completely unexpected and happened after I came home from a long day at work. When he asked me to marry him, I felt completely engulfed in my love for him. I could only say “Yes” =)

My experience is the same as Sheryl. I completely agree. The moment I felt the most love from my fiance was when he proposed. I was completely surprised! He chose everything that was “ME” and he made it truly special. He made sure to prepare the day so that I would love each moment, and I did. We went to an amazing restaurant at a resort, so we were beachfront. We love the beach, and I am a cancer (a water sign), so I love water. The night was magical. We were sitting outside in a secluded place because we like to be a bit private. I had heat lamps all around me so that I wouldn’t be cold. He made sure of it. He planned the night with the restaurant one week in advance. He called my girlfriend a month before the day to contact her regarding my ring size and what I would want. He included my best friend in every part; it was so sweet. They were so sly. He called my brother to let him know, and he even met with my Dad. I love that! It topped everything. He asked me to marry him in Chocolate because on our first date, he asked me “If I were stranded on an island, and I can bring food with me, what would it be?” Well, chocolate is not food, but I said CHOCOLATE. I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!! I love desserts. My fiance asked me to marry him in my favorite food, on a beautiful place, with great ambiance. He made sure my family was involved and my best friend too. That was the sweetest. Also, he spent what he could to give me what I would love. The ring was perfect, the night was perfect, and he is perfect for me. I loved it! After my brother saw the propsal pictures, he said…wow – That is the happiest I have ever seen you in your entire life. I couldn’t agree more. I felt love from my honey and my family and friends’ support made it even better. This is truly love. I was laughing and crying because it was love and happiness. Thank you for letting me share my story.
