Personally, the last week or so has been pretty rough for me. Every so often, I start questioning whether or not I’m on the right path. Should I be doing this? Why is photography so important to me? Why do people want me to capture their treasured memories for them? I suppose most professionals of any skill question themselves at some point or another. It’s only human. I sat down the other day to pick out my favorites from Christin and Scott’s engagement session with these thoughts in my mind. And suddenly, I was reassured. This is exactly what I should be doing. It’s important to me because, with this art, I can express myself and my ideas. It’s important to me because I get to work with beautiful and kind people like Christin and Scott every single day. I get to share this small moment with them and watch their love through my lens and it reminds me just how lucky I really am.
