Originally, Danley didn’t want to do an engagement session since it was so close to the wedding and Jonathan coaches a gazillion sports. (Which equals going to 20 gazillion games mind you) But then she had a change of heart- and I’m so glad she did! Especially for the first shot alone. Danley decided she wanted to have her engagement session at the Chicago Botanic Garden- up in Glencoe, which is where Jonathan proposed to Danley over by the lovely little flower fountain you see in a few shots below. (Too bad the fountain wasn’t on this time, because I would have ran through it, it was so hot out)
Before heading to the Gardens, we met up with Danley and Jonathan at Montrose Harbor and grabbed a few shots by the lake with the distant skyline and then carpooled up to the Gardens. On our drive there, I learned that Jonathan charmed Danley into moving to the southern suburbs with him, as we drove by her lovely old northern city apartment.
