Audrey and Sam are a truly international couple. He is from England, she is from the US and they have been living in Australia for years…. and now they are married, in Portugal. But why Portugal? Well, Australia was too far for both sides of the family to fly out for the wedding, and they couldn´t decide between the UK and the US because then one half of the family would have to travel and the other half wouldn´t… so they picked a spot somewhere between the 2, and Portugal it was!! The wedding and reception were both held at the Quinta de Sant´Ana in Mafra which is (up until now) officially one of our favourite wedding venues A: because it’s just so gorgeous, seriously… photographers dream, B: because the staff are the definition of awesome, they took such good care of us (which isn´t something that happens all the time, unfortunately) and C: because it’s really really close to where we live… always a bonus!
