Sometimes, things never go as planned.
Shannon and John drove in a few weeks ago from their home in Jonesboro for their engagement session. The plan was for us to meet in Hot Springs and photograph at Garvan Gardens and downtown Hot Springs.
A chunk of concrete in the road had other plans for Shannon and John.
About 30 miles before they reached Little Rock, John accidentally struck a large chuck of concrete and blew out a tire. In addition, the rim of the tire was bent beyond repair. After limping their way to a local dealership, we decided it was too late to make the trek to Hot Springs. So we did the next best thing, we all piled in my car and headed out to a favorite standby location in North Little Rock.
