I live and work in Woburn, MA – just outside of Boston. Born and raised in Indianapolis, I spent 6 years in Chicago before moving here in 2006. I have been photographing weddings, portraits, and documenting non-profit organizations all over the world since 2002. I am a photographer because I feel it’s what I have been called and equipped to do. I love to observe others, always hoping to figure out who they are and what makes them tick. I pay attention to the details. I am honest and my photographs are as well. I want to see what is truly happening below the surface, bring it to light in my photographs, and reveal it to others. I love the idea of expressing the heart or character of another human being in a photograph, revealing the core of the relationship between two people, or capturing an expression or habit of a person that will be treasured by those who love them. I shoot documentary-style; which means that I capture each event in a way that reflects the reality and relationships of my clients, in an artistic way. I want to help my couples share their story with others, and preserve their memories, creating a photographic record of the start of their new family. I truly consider it an honor to be invited into some of the most personal moments in my couples’ lives, and love getting to know them throughout the process!
