A Spring Wedding At Great Fosters Hotel ~ {William & Joanne say ‘I Do’}

I was really excited to shoot  William and Joanne’s wedding day, our pre wedding shoot had gone so well and it was obvious their special day would be a  joy to capture. It was a gorgeous sunny morning when I arrived at Great Fosters Hotel to photograph the Bridal party’s preparations.  Great Fosters was built in 1550 around an original Tythe barn supposedly as a hunting lodge. It’s very grand with a luxurious feel, and yet I speak from experience when I say that as a Bride and Groom you really feel it’s your very own stately home for the day. There was an air of  excitement when I arrived.  This is always one of my favourite parts of the day, I love discovering the wedding gown and usually pounce on the shoes to photograph every little detail. Joanne had chosen a gorgeous gown by Maggie Sottero and such pretty ivory jewel trimmed peep toe shoes from the Occasions range at Next.
