My name is Jeremy Standley and I am a wedding photographer. The story so far – born not long ago in Norwich, Norfolk, UK I picked up my very first camera at an early age and won the local school photo competition in 1981 with a fine portrait of an apple. My mum was impressed, although I think following her footsteps into fashion photography and not fruit would have been more to her liking! Since those heady days of 1981 I have led a somewhat colourful and varied life which has taken me to school in New York city and London, as well as having lived and worked in Los Angeles, worked as a photographer in the Sultanate of Oman and spent many memorable years working for Princess Cruises, firstly as a photographer, then working on new projects and providing training in Italy, France and Japan – an experience I am extremely grateful for today. Over the past four years I have photographed over 150 unique and memorable love stories in 9 countries around the world. I love to travel, cook, read, and play with anything with an apple on it (the connections are endless)! and relax with Dee my Irish girlfriend and Bella, our spirited golden retriever in our lovely home and studio situated between Marbella and Malaga. I have creatively changed direction since my early apple photography days, so please why not sit back and enjoy some of what I really love to do.
