Wedding photography by Jade + Matthew Take Pictures

We are a Savannah, GA based husband and wife photography team that specialize in wedding photography that is as unique as each of our couples. We love to travel and are available to document weddings anywhere in the world!

Jade:
I like the light in the mornings. I like peeps (fluffy marshmallowy yumminess). I like good strong coffee and full bodied red wines. I like traveling with my boys (Matthew, valentine + rolldog). I am super curious. I like rummaging through an antique/thrift store in the middle of nowhere. I wish I could only wear clothing from Anthropologie and 1950's vintage outfits. I have a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Photography from SCAD. I'm in love with photographers who capture real life moments in unusual ways. I love watching biographies on artists. I can't stay still too long and my progress reports from school always said I talked too much!

Matthew:
I love snap shirts from thrift stores, I have too many to count. I love taking naps in the afternoon. I like exploring new places with my wifey. I hope I am always near the woods; I love the quiet it brings. The guy that invented scotch is one of my heros. My favorite color is gray. I believe beards grow on you. Nothing is better than a good meal. I think the world would be a very dull place without music.

Us:
We dream in color.
We love taking photographs to tell stories.
One of us is a little more serious the other one a little more whimsical.
We met at an art gallery.
We knew we would be together forever after two weeks.
We make each other laugh for no reason.
We enjoy collecting art and listening to live music.
Watching movies in the park is pretty awesome.
Matthew cooks and I am not allowed in the kitchen.
We believe we are lucky to do what we love, and to have each other.
