Nick and Stephanie have been very influential in my life. I met them when I was in a very broken place, and Jesus definitely used them to mend that brokenness. I met these sweet friends at Mozarts coffee Shop in Austin while I was in line waiting for hot chocolate. I had just prayed my first prayer in a very long time, "Jesus, please make this day not suck." As soon as I got in line, I saw this group of people in front of me that were very obviously at Mozarts for the first time. I struck up a conversation, and soon enough, we were all having coffee together talking about Jesus. Apparently, they had all moved down from New Life church in Colorado to plant ONEChapel here in Austin! How perfect. You see, this day was not a good day for me. In fact, it could have been one of the worst days if Jesus hadn't interviened. But He did intervene, and in the company of new friends, I forgot about the pain I had been feeling.
