Sacramento McKinley Park Picnic Engagement (Holly and Shane)

Part 2 for Holly & Shane's engagement session. You can see their formal session, on the top floor of The Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento, HERE. For the second half, we headed over to McKinley Park. My father and mother met at McKinley Park in the 60's. My dad was a lifeguard working his way through college (among a few other jobs) and my mom was a cashier at the pool there the summer after her first year at Concordia University in Minnesota. We drove by it a few years ago and my dad pointed out the specific bench he had first spotted her on and described what she had been wearing that day, the very first time he ever laid eyes on her.
