I’ve been waiting for this wedding for quite some time. Kristen had been telling us all about this quaint little place up in Greensboro where the wedding was going to be held. The Groome Inn was absolutely awesome. A once beaten-down house that has been beautifully restored turned into a wonderful setting for a wedding. Just as the weather had been threatening when we did their engagement photos last fall, it seemed to be heading down the same path for their wedding day. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you can’t trust the weatherman every time. The rain held off, the temperature stayed down, and the whole day went off without a hitch. For a bride that had never once been to a wedding her entire life, Kristen (with help from David) pulled off one heck of a wedding. It’s so great seeing a couple so happy that they can’t leave each other’s side, let alone take their eyes off one another. And a big thank you to Paige for helping me out in a pinch and taking on the role of second shooting.
