Billy & Christy

Billy and Christy have become way more than a bride and groom that I was working with. In fact, they were never really that at all. The way we began our adventure together for their wedding came about in the oddest way. Being neighbors we'd hang out in the yard while the dogs played and what not. One day Billy and I were talking about their wedding, and I mentioned something about being a photographer. Both of us got pretty pumped on the idea of me shooting it and he said he would talk to Christy. All the while (literally the same day), Christy was talking to a friend of hers that was helping plan the wedding about a photographer she knew of from a friend at her work. That person happened to be me. We pretty much had a feeling from there on out that it was pretty much meant to be this way. The day their wedding came, there was a pretty strong chance of rain. That's never exciting. In fact there was a raging storm that hit Charlotte almost as the clock ticked over from 11:59 to midnight. Thankfully the rain held off, except for about 30mins, and we were able to have a great day regardless of the gray day around the city. Their ceremony was in this awesome little chapel that I've probably driven past every week since we've lived here, but never even noticed. It was such a cool little place to have a wedding ceremony. The reception was at Roof With A View and as you can see from the pictures...the view is pretty sweet. It's so cool the way the world works sometimes bring people together in odd ways, and I'm truly thankful that Paige and I have some great new friends in our lives. I'm so glad that we moved into this townhouse, because if not we would have never met Billy and Christy.
