Becky and Ward found me through a couple of friends that I had shot a wedding for a couple of years ago. They contacted me pretty late in the year, but as luck would have it the day was still available and I’m definitely thankful for that. This couple was definitely great. It was a great crisp early fall day filled with a lot of love and a lot of family. Seriously. This wedding was a total family occasion. Sisters and brothers for bridesmaids and groomsmen, and Becky’s father married them. That’s just something special right there. There had been a threat of some pretty intense rain that was going to linger around from the night before, and that was rolling in from the west. Thankfully it held off for the wedding day and it was absolutely perfect. The Rose Hill Estate in Aiken, South Carolina was the perfect backgrop for the day, too. There were all kinds of nooks and crannies for us to find to shoot, the place just kept going. All in all it was a wonderful day, and I’m glad I got to be a part of it.
