First and foremost....Happy Fall! I know fall has already officially began, but there's something about October 1st that really just makes it feel like fall. Especially with this great cooler weather we've been having lately.
Amelia and Wil started their relationship in such a great way. Wil owned/ran a coffee shop and as he said, "I hired her, fired her, and married her." So it's easy to say that their relationship has a lot to do with a good cup of joe. I was so happy when their big day had finally arrived. We woke up on a crisp morning in Andrews, North Carolina and made the short drive over to the Hawkesdene House where we were greeted with nothing but smiles and happiness. The weather was practically perfect, and we made the best of the day grabbing shots all over the Hawkesdene property. We even got a quick ride up one of the mountains on a sweet off-road mule to snag some shots. I'm not usually nervous going in to weddings, but this one I knew I had to be on my "A" game. Amelia is a photographer and quite a few of the folks in the wedding party and guests were professional photogs as well. I'm so happy with how everything turned out and that I was able to be a part of their big day. And not to brag...but Wil totally did some magic tricks for Paige and I before we said our goodbyes and headed off for the night. So the day literally was magical, but definitely in more ways than one.
